1 Chapter: Psalm 79

1 Verse: Verse 9. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; and deliver us and forgive our sins for Your name's sake.

1 Prayer: Father, I have taken Your name. I have claimed Your salvation. Now, please don't let Your name be dishonored because of me. Help me to live as one saved from sin and death and hell. Deliver me from evil and forgive my sins, so that those who see me and know I am Yours will give You praise for Your undeserved and unfailing and unfathomable goodness to those who belong to You. Help me to live for the glory of Your name, for Your name's sake, and not for myself.
