Psalm 124

1 Chapter: Psalm 124

1 Verse: Verse 8. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

1 Prayer: Help, Father. I'm calling out Your name, because it is only in You that I find the help that I need. You are the Creator of all things. You made me, and You are acquainted with all my neediness. What can I do but cast myself upon You for mercy and grace to help in time of need? Lord, it was no difficulty for You to make everything that is. It certainly seems like it would be no difficulty for You to meet my deepest needs. Please be a help to me now. I am trusting You to help me.

1 Chapter: Psalm 124

1 Verse: Verse 7. Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the trapper; the snare is broken and we have escaped.

1 Prayer: Father, You have given me freedom from the snare of the trapper, the enemy who would have loved to see me hand in hand with death, forever apart from You. All praise to You for eternity, that the snare is broken because of Your sacrifical love! The bond of sin is no more! You are my escape, Lord. It is only through You that my salvation is possible.
