Psalm 143

1 Chapter: Psalm 143

1 Verse: Verse 8. Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; for I trust in You; teach me the way in which I should walk; for to You I lift up my soul.

1 Prayer: Father, we need Your lovingkindness this morning. Lately, our mornings have been cruel; the day begins with doubt and disappointment and unrealized hopes. We trust You; we lift our souls to You. We place our very lives and selves into Your good hands. And while we are thankful for Your unfailing love, we can't help but admit there are other things that we also wish would not fail, yet do so -- over and over again. We know You are teaching us the way to walk, but it is a dark and lonely and rugged way right now. We want a change of scenery. Please, Lord, in Your wisdom and love, kindly give us what we ask.
