1 Passage: John 10:11-15
1 Verse: Verse 12. "He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them."
1 Prayer: Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus to be our Good Shepherd. I praise You because You own me, and because You own me You are not going to desert or abandon or forsake me. Even when the wolves are coming, when all I hear is their howling through the night, I know my Good Shepherd won't leave me. Jesus would rather die -- rather offer himself, his own flesh, to be torn apart by those bloody fangs -- than to see me snatched up and scattered away. Thank You, Father, for such perfect love.
