Revelation 22:12-17

1 Passage: Revelation 22:12-17

1 Verse:
Verse 17. The Spirit and the bride say, "Come " And let the one who hears say, "Come", And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for inviting me to come and drink for free the water that will save me. Please help us, the Bride of Christ -- the Church -- say "Come" to the thirsty world around us -- loud and clear and convincingly. Make us into people who invite others to take the water of life without cost. Forgive us for the ways we make people pay for that which You have freely given.

1 Passage: John 11:23-26

1 Verse:
Verse 25. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,"

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for raising us to new life in Jesus. I am in desperate need of daily resurrection. I face death -- the wages of sin -- every day. Thank You for granting me a life that is unconquered and unconquerable by death. Thank You for giving me life in Jesus. Please, Father, help me to continually look to Him for resurrection, for new life, fresh hope, and renewed strength.

John 10:11-15

1 Passage: John 10:11-15

1 Verse:
Verse 12. "He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them."

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus to be our Good Shepherd. I praise You because You own me, and because You own me You are not going to desert or abandon or forsake me. Even when the wolves are coming, when all I hear is their howling through the night, I know my Good Shepherd won't leave me. Jesus would rather die -- rather offer himself, his own flesh, to be torn apart by those bloody fangs -- than to see me snatched up and scattered away. Thank You, Father, for such perfect love.

John 10:7-10

1 Passage: John 10:7-10

1 Verse:
Verse 10. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus to give us life, shelter, safety, protection, pasture. Thieves and robbers are still prowling all around, and even though I am a sheep of Your flock, I can still hear their voices. Help me to not listen. Help me to stay close beside my Good Shepherd. Help me to rid my life of the things that steal, kill and destroy so that I may live abundant life in You.
