Psalm 106

1 Chapter: Psalm 106

1 Verse:
Verse 8. Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, that He might make His power known.

1 Prayer: Thank You, Father, for Your great "nevertheless". If salvation depended on me and my faithfulness, or me and my power, it would never happen, But You have saved me for Your name's sake. It is precisely Your power that saves. Why do I lament so my own weakness? It neither saves nor condemns me. You save me, and I am so grateful for Your everlasting lovingkindness. Your mercies are new every morning.

1 Chapter: Psalm 106

1 Verse: Verse 25. But grumbled in their tents; They did not listen to the voice of the LORD.

1 Prayer: Oh Lord, too often I 'forget' what You have said in Your word; too often I grumble in my tent and turn my ear away from Your direction, focusing on what's wrong instead of ALL that is so right! And after all you've done for me, given to me, given FOR me. Forgive me, Father, and restore my soul. I thank you now for the work you are doing in me. May it be for Your purposes and Your glory!
