Psalm 113

1 Chapter: Psalm 113

1 Verse:
Verse 6. Who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth?

1 Prayer: Thank You, Father, for Your great humility. Your glory is exalted ever higher the more You humble Yourself lower. Sometimes I feel like I am the lowest of the low, Father. It seems like You would never come all the way down here to witness my condition firsthand. Yet that is exactly what You do. I fear it at the same time I welcome it. I don't want You to see the squalor in which I live. And in some cases I've chosen this for myself, and I don't want You to see the rotten fruit of my foolish choices. But You have promised not to condescend in order to condemn. You have come down to give life, to seek and find what was lost, to repair what was broken, to reclaim what had been forfeited away, to redeem to Yourself what had been deemed not Your own, to renew what was fading out into oblivion and return it to abundant life again. That's me, Father. I am Yours.
