2 Peter 1:1-4

1 Passage: 2 Peter 1:1-4

1 Verse:
Verse 3. seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for giving us Your divine power to live godly lives. Forgive me for living weakly in my own godless powers. Help me to gain that true knowledge of You by which I come to understand that I have all that I need in You.

1 Verse 2: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;

1 Prayer: Lord, please help me to keep this truth in the fore front of my mind. My peace comes from no where else but from you.

1 Prayer: Lord, I ask that although sometimes I may take the credit for things, allow me to remember that you are in deed the divine power that has granted me everything.

1 Verse- 4For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

1 Prayer- Lord, you have been so amazingly gracious in the promises you have given me found in your Word. Help me to hold tight to these promises so that I am able to live a life that is holy and pleasing to you.
