Deuteronomy 10:17-22

1 Passage: Deuteronomy 10:17-22

1 Verse:
Verse 18. "He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows His love for the alien by giving him food and clothing."

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for caring for the helpless, the weak, the oppressed, the despised, the rejected, the unwanted. Thank You for providing for the needy. Forgive us when we fail to love and care for one another. Help us to become people who more fully live out Your justice and show Your love to those in our society and community who suffer hatred, injustice, discrimination and need.

Verse: 21 He is your praise and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen.

Prayer: I wasn't there when you took your people out of Egypt, but even so I praise you for all of the "great and awesome things" that you have done in my life which my "eyes have seen". Thank you so much for all of the many "miracles" that have happened in my life.
