Hebrews 4:14-16

1 Passage: Hebrews 4:14-16

1 Verse: Verse 16. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for sympathizing with my weakness. Our shared humanity gives me confidence to draw near to our Heavenly Father's throne -- the same throne to which You sit at the right hand in resurrected glory. Thank You for promising to give mercy and grace in my time of need. Forgive me for failing to ask. So often I fail to recognize or am ashamed to admit my need until it is too late. Please help me to know when I am straying too far from the throne of grace so that I may instead draw near and be strengthened by Your good Spirit.
