Luke 24:27-35

1 Passage: Luke 24:27-35

1 Verse:
Verse 28. And they approached the village where they were going, and He acted as though He were going farther.

1 Prayer:
Jesus, how many times do I fall for Your act? You test my faith by seeming as if You are going to leave me behind, yet You only need a simple invitation -- or perhaps and impassioned urging? -- to stay instead and fellowship with me. Forgive me for not urging You to stay. Forgive me for thinking You would ever leave me behind. You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the flock of ninety-nine to seek out the one lamb who is lost. Thank You, Jesus, for seeking me out. Please help me return the favor by seeking to always stay with You.
