Job 42:7-10

1 Passage: Job 42:7-10

1 Verse: Verse 8. "Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and My servant Job will pray for you, for I will accept him so that I may not do with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has."

1 Prayer:
Father, thank You for accepting Jesus' sacrifice to atone for my sin. I have not spoken of you what is right, nor have I been righteous and faithful as Job was in the midst of his suffering. I have cursed You to Your face and kindled Your wrath. But I have also received Your grace. Thank You for not doing with me as my sins deserve. Thank You for allowing Jesus to receive the penalty that I have earned. Even today, Father, I beg You not to treat me according to my folly. Spare me from my sin and its consequences for the sake of Your name. Undo the wrong I have done and instead allow me to do right in Your name.
