Psalm 23:1-6

1 Passage: Psalm 23:1-6

1 Verse: Verse 1. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for watching over me -- protecting, providing, guiding -- as my shepherd. It is by faith in Your perfect wisdom and power that I resolve not to desire more than what I have. You make it possible for me to live without coveting. And yet Your Word is clear -- suffering need is a part of even (or perhaps especially) the most faithful follower's life. So please teach me, as You taught our brother Paul, how to be content in whatever circumstances I am. No matter what I lack, no matter where I am or am not, no matter how much it hurts to not have what I need, You are my Good Shepherd. Thank You, Father. I shall not want.
