Matthew 4:1-11

1 Passage: Matthew 4:1-11

1 Verse:
Verse 7. Jesus said to him, "On the other hand, it is written, 'YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.'"

1 Prayer:
Father, please help me to recognize when I am testing You, and help me to stop. Forgive me for not trusting in faith the promises of Your word. Forgive me for seeking for signs rather than simply believing You.

Verse 2: And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry.

Prayer: I can't thank you enough for coming to earth, becoming human, experiencing what we feel, all so that you could sacrifice yourself for us. Thank you.
