1 Passage: Luke 24:44-49

1 Verse: Verse 49. "And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."

1 Prayer: Thank You, Father, for Your Holy Spirit which You have promised to all who believe in You. Thank You for giving me Your Spirit -- Your divine, holy, eternally living Spirit. By Your Spirit You are my ever-present Comforter and help in time of need. Always remind me that I am clothed with power from on high, that my life is inhabited by Your Spirit from heaven that has completely overcome this world.
