Matthew 21:1-11

1 Passage: Matthew 21:1-11

1 Verse: Verse 5. "SAY TO THE DAUGHTER OF ZION,
'BEHOLD YOUR KING IS COMING TO YOU,
GENTLE, AND MOUNTED ON A DONKEY,
EVEN ON A COLT, THE FOAL OF A BEAST OF BURDEN.'"

1 Prayer: Thank You, Father, for sending us our King to save us. Thank You, Jesus, for being a gentle King, and humble. Thank You for being a King who bears our burdens. Like the donkey on which You rode into Jerusalem, You carry the weight of another -- of all others -- upon Yourself. All our sins and fears and shame and doubt and regret and pain is Yours. Please, Lord, help me to be worthy of Your kingdom. Help me to be gentle and humble and willing to bear whatever burden You see fit to place upon me.
