1 Passage: 1 Peter 2:1-5
1 Verse: Verse 5. you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1 Prayer: Thank You, Father, for Your grace to us in making us holy priests serving in Your spiritual house. The very thing that Uzziah was cursed with leprosy for doing, we are created and called and commanded to do -- to offer sacrifices to You through Jesus. Thank You for making our offerings acceptable in Him. Help me to make myself a living sacrifice of service to You and to those You place in my path.

1 Verse: Verse 3, "...if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord."
1 Prayer: Father, I am blessed beyond measure. I have tasted Your kindness. In fact, I have tasted Your lovingkindness that endures forever. The very presence of Your indwelling Spirit allows me to taste Your kindness daily and to be reminded daily how kind You are to all who have received Jesus as Savior and Lord. Father, I do not deserve such kindness but nevertheless You have given it and now by the power of Your Spirit I can share that kindness with others. To You be the glory.
