Hebrews 13:15-17

1 Passage: Hebrews 13:15-17

1 Verse:
Verse 15. Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.

1 Prayer:
Forgive me, Father, for fruitless lips that are at times more like the fig tree You cursed -- all showy leaves and no profitable produce -- than the humble little seed that You blessed, which yielded its crop one-hundredfold. You created these lips and this tongue for blessing, not cursing, and I want my words to be a pleasing sacrifice of praise and thanks to You. I owe You everything. Let me continually offer back to You praise and thanks for Your everlasting loving kindness.

1 Verse: Verse 16 And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

1 Prayer: Dear Lord, I pray that I can be filled with your love and compassion and that instead of keeping it inside I will be able to share it with others. Though there are times when it becomes difficult to put others before myself, with your strength and love I know that I will be able to help others, showing them the love that you continually have for all of us.

1 verse-)Through Him then, let us continually offer up a (B)sacrifice of praise to God, that is, (C)the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.

1Prayer- May I CONTINUALLY give praise...for the small things as well as the larger things Lord. During life's pleasant times as well as life's not so pleasant times may I praise you. Thank you for loving me in times when i have not recognized blatant opportunities to praise you Lord.
