John 15:1-5

1 Passage: John 15:1-5

1 Verse:
Verse 4. "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me."

1 Prayer: Thank You, Father, for figuring out a way for me to bear fruit. It is the most natural thing in the world for a branch to bear fruit -- but only when it remains a part of the tree. Please help me to remain connected. Help me to draw life and strength and nourishment from Jesus. And help my feeble little branch bear some fruit today -- even in the bleak midwinter.

1 Passage: John 15:1-5

1 Verse: 5"I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

1 Prayer: My Gracious Father... help me to remember to that you are the reason I exist. May I rely on you before I rely on anyone or thing...especially myself. I am truly amazed and in awe that nothing is too big for you.
