John 4:34-38

1 Passage: John 4:34-38

1 Verse:
Verse 38. "I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored and you have entered into their labor."

1 Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for sending me out to harvest. Thank You for making sure that I don't labor all alone out there. Thank You for the labors of others who have begun the work and continued it to this day. Help me to enter into their labor with my own efforts to sow and reap, however small these may be. Silence my oh-so-smart ideas about when and where and how and why to harvest, and open my eyes to see both the present ripeness of the harvest field and the richness of the reapings from it.

have entered into their labor."

1 Prayer: Help me to be encouraged Lord that my life is a part of a bigger picture... a picture that began through your labor of love and that has continued through followers of you. May I daily remember the part that you have me play in your work and the importance of every "body part" with in your church.

1 Prayer: Father, Your words remind me that I need to be willing and ready to take part in whatever way You want to use me. Thank You for letting me part of any facet of the harvest. It's so awesome seeing You at work! Thank You for the priviledge of serving You freely; I know others don't have that luxury. Help me to not take for granted nor take lightly the path You light for me.

1 Prayer: Lord help me to distinguish for what you wish for me to labor towards. Thank you for allowing us to be part of the process in which we are active participants in raising your kingdom. Help us to realize how we can serve each other, in turn, serving you.
